WHAT IS INTERNET SLUTTS

INTERNET SLUTTS is a bizarre, edgy new comedy series about a couple of twisted puppets whose lives revolve around the Internet.

Set in a skanky basement apartment, Internet Slutts stars MURK, a drug-addled bicycle courier, and his best friend Wally, a pompous, windily opinionated fellah who bears a striking resemblance to a two foot tall penis.

Like most of us, Wally and Murk first signed onto the Internet as a way to explore the world and pursue lofty areas of interest---and within seconds of getting on-line went straight to a depraved sex site.

Now savvy net browsers, Wally and Murk head to the web whenever they need to answer a pressing question such as "Is peeing on people really a highly erotic sex act or just bad manners?" They surf when they're researching a new hobby; looking for ways to scam some quick cash; or just plain bored and in the mood to waste valuable time building a virtual cow.

They explore the world of fetish sites, webcams, special interest pages, strange products, peculiar pursuits - commenting wryly the entire time.

Internet Slutts isn't a how-to guide to the world wide web, unless you're looking for hints on how to use the searchable picture data base at Bondage.com. It's a celebration of the remarkable array of oddball sites out there, as seen through the eyes of a couple of very subjective and eccentric characters.

Each of our 18 episodes has a character-driven plot that ties the featured sites together, and often a visit to a website is simply the jumping off point to some very peculiar Internet-inspired behaviour: Murk tries to sell videos of himself being tickled... Wally books a tour of Chinese drive-through brothels... Murk and his new girlfriend try breath-holding as a sexual turn-on... Wally applies his new-found knowledge of what women really want (they want to be able to use urinals, apparently)...

Internet Slutts is a comedy series that will be enjoyed by just about anyone who's allowed to surf the web without adult supervision. Press Links: Canoe , PLAYBACK

THE TALENT POOL

Steven Westren Writer / Director / Executive Producer / Creator

Picasso, Rembrandt, Michelangelo. These are all creative geniuses. Then
there's Steve Westren. While Steve is a mere speck of dust compared to
these giant intellects, he has come up with a pretty funny idea for a
show.

Steve's career preparations for this breakthrough include once drawing a regular
cartoon for The Toronto Star, traveling the world as half of the renowned
comedy juggling team Circus Shmirkus (until his knees gave out), and writing numerous film and television scripts for Fox, Disney, Buena Vista, USA Network, UPN and Sullivan Entertainment, as well as puppeteering on two major network Muppet specials. He is co-creator of the upcoming series "Puppets Who Kill" and has won numerous awards for his writing and directing. Links: PLAYBACK

Frank Meschkuleit as Wally

Frank is so busy as a famous puppeteer, he couldn't even take two
minutes out of his busy schedule to fax us a resume. We're pretty sure
he worked on Universal's Bride of Chucky, and is a Jim Henson stalwart
with work on the feature Follow That Bird, the international hit TV series Fraggle Rock, and the Muppet's 30th Anniversary Special on ABC. He also has his own highly successful one-man comedy act, The Left Hand of Frank. Links: Eye Mag , Eye Mag , Saskatoon Theatre Fringe

Brian Stockton Producer / Director / Writer / Alpha Geek

Brian is a good-looking chap known for writing and directing hilarious, award-winning short films like The Weight of the World, and his series of animated shorts featuring a depressed lump of goo called The Blob Thing. Schooled in every facet of the filmmaking process - from writing and directing to sound editing and cinematography - he is said to
