Meet Wally and Murk - a highly-opinionated talking
penis and his drug-addled
sidekick. They're the INTERNET SLUTTS, and they're the hosts
of a wildly
entertaining, 18-episode tour through cyberspace that is sometimes
shocking,
frequently informative and always hilarious. Truly "Oh my
god!" television,
INTERNET SLUTTS debuts Friday, April 21 @ 11:30 p.m. ET/PT, exclusively
on
The Comedy Network.
The creation of
warped writer Steven Westren, INTERNET SLUTTS is
television's first Internet comedy, an adult series that uses
bizarre Web
sites as the basis for a comedic adventure through cyberspace.
Wally and
Murk are two twisted puppets whose lives revolve around the Internet,
spending their days and nights surfing the Web for guidance on
how to live
their pathetic lives. Whether trying to make a quick buck, get
laid, learn a
hobby, write a will or re-educate themselves, Wally and Murk
turn to the
Internet for answers - and expose countless oddball Web sites
in the
process. Commenting wryly the whole time, Wally and Murk visit
sites devoted
to the strange and hilarious, from men who like to wear diapers
and women
who like to urinate standing up to celebrity skin ailments and
"possibly the
least-seen piercing in the world."
"INTERNET SLUTTS is pure comedy convergence!"
says Ed Robinson, Vice
President of Programming and General Manager for The Comedy Network.
Additional information (and laughs!) from each
episode are available at the
show Web site www.internetslutts.com, including links to the
sites featured
on the series. Video and audio clips, behind-the-scenes material,
a chat
room, episodic information and Wally and Murk's own personal
pages are also
featured.
Playing Wally and Murk are two of the world's best
puppeteers, respectfully
Frank Meschkuleit (THE MUPPETS; FRAGGLE ROCK) and Ron Stefaniuk
(GOOSEBUMPS,
Bride of Chucky).
INTERNET SLUTTS was written, directed and co-executive
produced by Steven
Westren (co-creator of The Comedy Network's PUPPETS WHO KILL)
along with
John Gundy (executive producer; director), Allan Weinrib (executive
producer) and Brian Stockton (producer; writer; director).
